摘 要:民国是中国现代高等教育的初创时期,大多数高校制定了校训、创作了校歌。通过对34所高校校训和校歌分析,结合历史回顾,中华传统教育文化是校训、校歌制定和创作的内生动力,办学者强烈的社会动员愿望是历史现实动力,政府教育方针、训令等的推动是体制动力。校训、校歌显示了精英式的创作者群体特征,引经据典的语言特征,振兴中华、抵御外侮的时代特征,乡土文化浓郁的地域显示特征,特色和理念彰显的办学特征。高校以文“载道”、以歌“咏志”,校训、校歌蕴含着丰富的中华优秀传统文化因素,传承了中华优秀传统文化的核心思想理念、中华传统美德和中华人文精神,彰显了中华传统文化的坚守和自信。The Republic of China saw the initial period of modern higher education in China.Most colleges and universities formulated their school mottos and school songs.With an analysis of the mottos and songs of 34 colleges and universities in the period of the Republic of China,it is found that there are three factors that promote the formulation of these school mottos and the school songs:the traditional Chinese educational culture being the internal driving force,the strong social mobilization desire of the administrators being the realistic driving force,and the educational laws and policies of the government being the institutional driving force.These school mottos and the school songs show such characteristics as the groups of elite creators,the linguistic features of quoting the classics,the times of revitalizing China and resisting foreign humiliation,the regional features of rich local culture,and the universities with particular concepts.Colleges and universities formulate their ideological doctrines with their own culture and celebrate their aspirations with songs.The school mottos and the school songs embody a wealth of excellent elements of traditional Chinese culture,inherit the key ideological ideas,traditional virtues and humanistic spirit of excellent traditional Chinese culture,and thus highlight the firm belief in and self-confidence of traditional Chinese culture.
