摘 要:毛泽东诗词具有深刻的思想内涵和美学意蕴,其英译是中华文化“走出去”的重要组成部分。在毛泽东诗词的英译过程中,译者介入难以避免,但译者不能超越原作者。事实上,由于受意识形态、诗学形态、文献资料、翻译策略等因素的制约,不同译文所建构的毛泽东形象也不尽相同,甚至存在着一些不当不妥甚至谬误之处。为了实现译文“信、达、雅”的和谐统一,建构真实、客观、立体的毛泽东形象,译者要注意两个方面的问题:一是要研究相关文献,正确认知毛泽东诗词创作的背景;二是要以恰当的表达方式充分体现原文的思想内容和风格特点,力戒过多介入。The poems of Mao Zedong are of profound ideological implication and aesthetic significance.The translation of Mao Zedong’s poems is a key component of Chinese culture going global.In the process of translating Mao Zedong’s poems,translators might easily display their subjectivity,but they should not exceed the source-text author.As a matter of fact,restricted by ideology,poetic forms,document and translation strategies,different translations formed various images of Mao Zedong,some even improper or fallacious.In order to realize the harmony and unity of being faithful,expressive and elegant so as to construct an authentic,objective and three-dimensional image of Mao Zedong,translators should study pertinent literature and cognize correctly the historical background in which Mao Zedong wrote his poems on the one hand,and avoid being over-subjective so as to embody the ideas and style of the source text in a proper way of expression on the other hand.
