摘 要:小说原作中的人物形象到译作中会发生一定程度的变化。戴凤莲是莫言《红高粱家族》中浓墨重彩的一位人物,此人物形象在葛浩文的英译本中得到了加强。这种变化归因于译者对人物形象的把控与操纵,因为译者对小说人物形象的操控影响着译文的质量与传播效果。结合勒菲弗尔的操纵理论,从诗学、意识形态和赞助者三个因素分析戴凤莲从原作到译作中的形象变化。此举既可以深化葛浩文翻译研究,又能给中国文学外译以启示。The image of the character in the original novel will change in the translation to a certain extent.Dai Fenglian is an important character in Mo Yan's Red Sorghum,who has been strengthened in Howard Goldblatt's English translation.This change is attributed to the translator's control and manipulation of the character image,because the translator's manipulation of the characters in the novel affects the quality and communication effect of the translation.Based on Lefevere's manipulation theory,this paper analyzes Dai Fenglian's image change from the original to the translation from three factors of poetics,ideology and patronage,which can not only deepen the study of Goldblatt's translation,but also enlighten the foreign translation of Chinese literature.
