英国考文垂大学服务区域创新发展的经验与启示

摘　　要：地方高校是高等教育的重要组成部分,在服务区域经济、社会、文化建设和推动区域创新发展中具有重要的作用。英国考文垂大学以创业型大学转型和变革为契机,确立以服务区域发展为导向的战略定位,以提升就业能力和培育创业思维为目标的人才培养路径,以知识交流为平台的创新活动开展和以激活创新驱动为核心的运行机制构建,形成“考文垂式”服务区域创新发展模式。考文垂大学服务区域发展的经验和启示值得我国地方高校借鉴:明确定位,主动担当;整合资源,搭建平台;提升质量,对接需求;内外联动,校企合作。As an important part of higher education,local universities play a significant role in boosting regional economic,social and cultural construction and promoting the regional innovation and development.Coventry University in UK,grasping the opportunity of the transformation and reform of entrepreneurial universities,set up a strategic orientation that boosts local development,adopted a talent training path that aimed at improving employability and cultivating entrepreneurial thinking,carried out innovation activities on the platform of knowledge exchanges and established the operational mechanism to activate the innovation drive as the core,to finally take the Coventry-style of boosting the regional innovation and development mode into shape.The experiences and inspirations of Coventry University in boosting regional development are worthy of reference for local universities in China in the following aspects:clear positioning and taking responsibility actively,resources integration and platform construction,quality improvement and demand guarantee,internal-external linkage and university-industry cooperation.
