康达维英译《文选·赋》的副文本成就及其示范意义

摘　　要：美国汉学家康达维英译《文选·赋》的副文本规模庞大,具有特色并有相当高的学术价值:一是副文本融合中国传统注疏与西方文学译著体例而自成体系风格;二是注释内容丰富考辨深入,兼取古今中外之长而富有学术内涵;三是康达维副文本成就的获得既是对前辈汉学家运用语文学方法解读文本的学术继承,又是出于他自觉以"译文+副文本"方式有效传播中国古代辞赋的学术使命;四是对中国古代文学的翻译及跨语言文化传播有方法论启示。The broad range and unique approach to the paratext of Wen xuan or Selections of Refined Literature translated by American Sinologist David R. Knechtges provides distinctive characteristics and critical academic value as follows:(1) A fully-developed system of paratext combines the styles of traditional Chinese commentary with the styles of Western ancient Chinese literature translation and has its creativity.(2) The notes are abundant in content and take full advantage of the academic achievements of ancient and modern Chinese scholars and Western academicians in the utilization while also giving voice to Knechtges’ research.(3) The large paratext system is an academic inheritance of the application of philology of some former sinologists and is evidence of Knechtges’ academic mission to effectively disseminate ancient Chinese fu by adopting “translation+paratext”.(4) It brings methodological enlightenment to the translation of ancient Chinese literature, as well as cross-language and cross-cultural communication.
