摘 要:艺术类型学思想是托马斯·门罗比较艺术学研究的重要组成部分,他首先指出艺术的分类问题与艺术的定义之间存在着密切的关系,接着从艺术形式的类型(艺术门类)和艺术风格的类型两个方面来加以探讨,提出了区分艺术类型的具体方法。门罗对艺术问题的思考不局限于抽象的哲学思辨,而是重点关注具体的艺术生产实践,通过对艺术现象的客观描述和相互比较来创建一种自下而上的美学研究范式。门罗突破了传统的艺术分类模式,提出独特的艺术分类方法,为艺术类型理论的发展作出了重要的贡献。Arts typology is an important component of Thomas Munro’s arts studies. He first points out that there exists a close relationship between the classification and definition of arts. In addition, based on his analysis of typology of artistic forms and styles, he puts forward the methods to distinguish between arts types. Munro’s thinking on arts is not only limited to abstract philosophical speculation, but also focuses on specific artistic production practice, and further creates a bottom-up paradigm of aesthetic research through objective description and comparison of artistic phenomena. Munro breaks through the traditional arts classification mode and puts forward a unique arts classification method, which makes a contribution to the development of arts type theory.
