In the history of human thought, "child art" is similar to "child", having experienced the process of being "ignored", "misunderstood" and then "faced up". The multiple visions of artists, art theorists, educators, psychologists, etc. contributed to the "discovery of child art". The intentions of all parties concerning children’s art are different, but they share the same tendency, that is, the pursuit of "nature", the rebellion against traditional rigid rules, and the emphasis on creativity and free expressions. This tendency is the ideological background that highlights the independence of children’s art. In this context, the "nature" of children embodied in child art has become an important resource for artists to reflect on their creations and seek breakthroughs, as well as an important research aspect for educators and psychologists. With artists learning from children and thinkers praising childlike innocence, the nature, development characteristics and psychological content of children’s art are constantly being revealed. These "discoveries" from different perspectives enrich our views on children’s art and children, and are also important prerequisites for our educational reflection.
