国家外语能力要求背景下GE教师向ESP教师的转型探讨

摘　　要：基于国家外语能力要求的背景,探讨目前形势下既满足国家需求、社会需求又满足个人需求的大学英语改革方向,尤其是GE教师向ESP教师的转型,分别从时代背景、学科需求、GE教师向ESP教师转型需具备的素质、专业培训、教学方法的转换等方面展开探讨研究,从而验证GE教师向ESP教师转型的迫切性与可行性。Based on the national foreign language proficiency requirements,this paper discusses the direction of College English reform to meet the needs of the country,the society and the individual,especially the necessity of the transformation from GE teachers to ESP teachers from the perspectives of the background of the Times,the requirements of English discipline,the qualities,professional training and teaching methods transformation required for GE teachers to transform to ESP teachers.Through these aspects,this paper attempts to verify the urgency and feasibility of the transformation from GE teachers to ESP teachers.
