摘 要:文章对六所不同层次高校的英语专业及非英语专业的学生进行跨文化语用能力抽样测试调查,通过定量和定性的对比研究,分析发现:大学生的跨文化语用能力整体水平偏低;大学生对提高跨文化语用能力的自我意识较弱;英语专业学生的英语语言能力及跨文化语用能力皆大大高于非英语专业学生;不管是英语专业还是非英语专业学生,他们的跨文化语用能力在三个不同层次院校间均有显著差异存在。同时,这些受试学生的英语语言能力与其语用能力并不相关。我们应该进一步探究这种差异是由何种因素导致,以便更省时更高效地提高学生整体的跨文化语用能力。This study sampled English majors and non-English majors from six universities of different levels to test their cross-cultural pragmatic competence.Through quantitative and qualitative comparativeanalysis,it is discovered that the overall level of intercultural pragmatic competence of college students is low,that college students generally have weak self-awareness of improving cross-cultural pragmatic competence,and that the language competence and intercultural pragmatic competence of English majors are much higher than those of non-English majors.The study also shows that there is a significant difference in the performance of pragmatic test among the students no matter English majors or non-English majors from key universities,common universities and newly established ones,showing a trend of gradual decline and that the English language competence of these subjects does not correlate to their pragmatic competence.We should further explore the causes of such differences in order to improve college students'overall intercultural pragmatic competence more effectively in future.
