摘 要:教科书是教育启蒙的核心,教科书构建的国家形象更是直接影响学生对国家的认知与认同。随着爱国主义教育和课程思政的深入开展,在教科书中构建国家形象也成为大势所趋。该文从经济、文化、社会、政治和地理五个层面来分析2012年人教版小学英语教科书中体现的国家形象,提出在小学英语教科书中建构国家形象的几点启示:与时俱进,增加具有时代特色的内容;加强国家形象教育,培养青少年的国家意识;增加民族文化内容,增强青少年的民族认同感。Textbooks are the core of educational enlightenment,and the image of the country built by textbooks directly affects students’cognition and recognition of the country.With the deepening of patriotism education and curriculum-based ideological and political education,building the country’s image in textbooks has also become a general trend.After analyzing the national image embodied in the primary school English textbooks of the 2021 PEP version from the five levels of economy,culture,society,politics,and geography,this paper proposes several enlightenments for building national image in primary school textbooks:keeping pace with the times and adding contemporary content;strengthening national image education to cultivate adolescents’national consciousness;adding content about national culture to enhance adolescents’sense of national identity.
