摘　　要：中国北方地区既是中华文明的重要起源地之一,也是古代北方民族活动的历史舞台,在中华文明与中华民族的形成与发展史上有着举足轻重的地位。在长期从事该地区的考古发掘与研究的基础上,我们建立起了内蒙古中南部史前考古学文化的编年体系,也逐步构建起北方民族考古研究的学术体系。近年来在探索农牧交融与畜牧业起源模式等理论问题的同时,也将主要精力放在考古学学术新人的培养上。“北方与民族”考古系列论文就是出自从事北方地区考古的青年学者之手,选题与所得结论皆有不同程度的创新性,代表着该研究领域的发展方向。The northern region of China is not only an important place of origin of Chinese civilization,but also a historical stage for the activities of ancient northerm peoples,and it occupies an important position in the history of the formation and development of Chinese civilization and the Chinese nation.We have been engaged in archacologi-cal excavations and research in the area for a long time,established a prehistoric archaeological cultural chronology system in central and southem Inner Mongolia,built our own northem ethnic research system,and considered theo-retical isues such as the origin of animal husbandry.In recent years,while exploring the theoretical problems such as the integration of farming and hrerding and the origin of animal husbandry,we have focused on archacology learning education and the cultivation of new academics.“North and Nation”Archaeology Series Papers are all witten by young scholars engaged in archaeology in the northem region.The topics and conclusions are innovative to varying degrees,which represent the development direction of this rescarch field.
