英国政治经济学在晚清的境遇--以《富国策》和《原富》译介为例

摘　　要：汪凤藻和严复作为晚清新式学堂培养的学生,在传播西方经济学方面作出了重要贡献。两人分别翻译的《富国策》和《原富》,皆在近代中国寻求富强的背景下翻译出版,且对原作有所调整,但在翻译思想、选材趋向、翻译技巧及表现形式上,两者还有一定的区别。由于清末的经济文化条件,使得《富国策》和《原富》的影响有限。Wang Fengzao and Yan Fu,as students of new schools in the late Qing dynasty,made important contributions to the dissemination of western economics.They respectively translated and published Manual of Political Economy and The Wealth of Nations in the context of seeking prosperity and strength in modern China,and adjusted the original works.However,there are some differences in translation ideas,material selection,translation skills and forms.Due to the economic and cultural conditions in the late Qing dynasty,the influence of the two books was limited.
