摘 要:1939年8月至1940年3月的国民政府教育部西南边疆教育考察团是全面抗战时期以“边疆教育考察”命名的唯一考察团。该考察团的考察及宣传活动丰富了人们对西南边疆情形的了解,加深了西南边疆各民族的国家认同。考察团提出的关于发展边疆教育、改善边疆管理的若干建议也为国民政府教育部所采纳,在事实上推动了抗战时期边疆教育事业的发展,很好地映射出彼时边疆教育考察在学术研究与社会服务之间、研究理论与社会实践之间的互动状况,也彰显了教育所不能推卸、不能弱化的社会责任与服务精神。From August 1939 to March 1940,the Southwest Frontier Education Investigation Group of the Ministry of Education of the National Government was the only investigation group named“Frontier Education Investigation”during the period of the all-out Anti-Japanese War.The investigation and publicity activities of the investigation group enriched people’s understanding of the situation in the southwest frontier and deepened the national identity of the ethnic groups in the southwest frontier.Moreover,some suggestions on the development of frontier education and improvement of frontier management put forward by the investigation group were also adopted by the Ministry of Education of the National Government,which actually promoted the development of frontier education during the Anti-Japanese War.The frontier education investigation well reflected the interaction between academic research and social services,theoretical studies and social practice at that time,and also showed that education could not shirk the social responsibility and service spirit could not be weakened.
