摘　　要：现有汉语音译原则论述推进了我们对汉语音译的认识,但众说纷纭,且受制于习惯性思维。本文解读“原则”,提出要成其为汉语音译原则的基本要求,并以此为基础对现有汉语音译原则论述进行归类分析,得出结论:名从主人是汉语音译的唯一原则,其他则是这一原则指导下关于汉语音译的具体要求。The statements about how to do Chinese-oriented transliteration(COT),supposed to be principle(s)to be followed in COT,have improved the understanding toward COT.However,they are quite different from each other,misled and influenced by the habitual thinking.This paper tries to understand the word principle,put forward the basic qualifiers for the principles of COT,and arrive at the conclusion.On this basis,it classifies and analyzes the existing discussions on COT principles,and concludes that the only principle of Chinese transliteration is naming after the original sound,and the others are the specific requirements under the guidance of this principle.
