摘　　要：异化是现代西方文学关注的主要关注点之一,作为英国现代主义文学先驱的女作家弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫在她所创作的短篇故事《邱园记事》中,描绘出了一幅在物质文明高度发达的背景下现代人彷徨孤独不知所措的生活囧图,饱受战争的摧残、工业文明的入侵,人类的生存变得举步维艰,外在环境成为人实现愿望实现自我的桎梏枷锁,人的内心世界变得荒芜,西方现代文明变成了名副其实的"精神荒原",而人也逐渐脱离人的本质,变得日益非人化。《邱园记事》中主要从四方面体现了人的异化:人与自然的格格不入,人与社会的脱离,人与人的疏远,人与自我的冲突。Alienation is an important theme that modern western literature is focused on. “Kew Gardens” is a short story written by one of the pioneers of English modernism, Virginia Woolf, and it presents readers with a vivid picture of modern man’s alienation and loneliness against the background of the advanced material civilization. Tormented by the merciless war and invaded by the overwhelming industrial civilization, human existence becomes much of an issue. Man finds it almost impossible to achieve his dreams because of the hindrance of the external environment. Gradually, nothing deserves living for, and man is finally dehumanized. Alienation in this story can be analyzed in the following four aspects: the disharmony between man and nature, the distance between man and society, the alienation between man and man, and the conflict between man and himself.
