摘 要:旅游宣传资料的主要功能是为游客提供游览地的基本信息,吸引游客的注意并激发人们的游兴。因此,旅游宣传资料的翻译应做到英译文本信息准确,语言表达简洁流畅,内容通俗易懂。文章分别从语用失误角度和旅游英语翻译特点的角度,对旅游宣传资料中存在的英译文本失误问题进行评析,结合新时期中国特色翻译理论为指导,提醒译者尽量避免和减少翻译失误。To provide tourists with basic information about the interesting places and to arouse their attention and enthusiasm are the two most important functions of a travel guide brochure.A good English version of it should be accurate in translation text, simple and fluent in expression as well as popular and easy to understand.From the two aspects of cross-cultural pragmatic failure and features of tourism English translation, under the guidance of translation theory with Chinese features, this paper analyzes the errors in the English version of a travel guide brochure, in order to remind the translators of trying to avoid and reduce the errors and weakness in translation.
