摘  要:《高等职业教育专科英语课程标准(2021年版)》是当前及今后相当长时间内职业英语教育的重要行动纲领。在行业英语词汇遴选方面,虽然确定了各阶段的词汇量,但各行业的具体收词尚缺乏依据,对于如何教授职业英语特色词汇也缺乏指导。本文提出“真材实用、优选常用、单词连用、情境活用”的“四用原则”,基于行业英语语料库自动提取高职英语词汇,确立词汇表,并建议围绕典型短语搭配和职业场景编制词汇教学材料、组织课堂教学和设计学业测评任务。本文基于酒店行业英语词汇的筛选和教学转化开展案例剖析。English Curriculum Standards for Higher Vocational Education(2021 Edition) serves as a guiding criterial document for the current and future vocational English education. Unanimously accepted principles concerning the selection of vocational vocabulary, however, are not available to date in the field, whilst the overall vocabulary size of different program levels of vocational students has been specified in the Standards. Moreover, less attention has been devoted to the teaching of vocational vocabulary. This paper proposes a corpus-based approach to automatically extracting the vocabulary for vocational purposes with special reference to typical collocations and vocational scenarios in the presentation of vocabulary in teaching materials, classroom vocabulary instruction as well as teaching evaluation. The selection and pedagogical delivery of hotel English vocabulary are exemplified in the paper as per the Principles of Four Usages.
