导师的“指”与“导”——“从研究生指导教师”的名称说开去

摘　　要：研究生指导教师,应将“指导”二字放在更为突出的地位,而且与一般性的教学指导有不同的特点。可归纳为两点:其一,落实指导中的个别性、针对性与差异性;其二,作为研究生指导教师,所谓“指”,主要是指方向、指视野、指路径,所谓“导”,则主要是导方法、导能力,再加兴趣的激发与“动力因”的触导。研究生学位论文的“选题”,与其说是选题目,不如说是找问题。因此,导师应尤其注重引导学生在其熟悉的领域发现问题,或者是说自觉地带着“问题意识”确定选题。作为导师,要让所指导的研究生认识到,完成学位论文的目的和意义是探究学术问题,而绝非拼凑文字来完成任务。Postgraduate supervisors should place the word"directing&guiding"in a more prominent position,and have different characteristics from the general teaching guidance.This can be summed up in two points:firstly,the implementation of the guidance of individuality,pertinence and difference;Secondly,as postgraduate supervisors,the so-called"directing"mainly refers to the direction,vision and path,while the so-called"guiding"mainly refers to the guiding method and ability,plus the trigger and guidance of interest.“The topic selection of thesis”for postgraduates is more a question than a topic selection.Therefore,supervisors should pay special attention to guiding students to find problems in their familiar fields,or to consciously determine the topic with"problem awareness".As supervisors,they should make the postgraduates under supervision realize that the purpose and significance of completing the dissertation is to explore academic problems rather than a scissors and paste job.
