摘　　要：自学辅导的教学思想由来已久,教学成果不胜枚举。首先阐述轮机英语教学中培养学生自学能力的必要性,其次从课堂应用“启、读、练、知、结”五步教学程序和课外自学“规、享、答、跟”四字工作方案两方面详细解读自学辅导法在轮机英语教学中的应用,然后探讨培养学生良好自学习惯的基本途径,以期为轮机英语教学改革探索具有操作性的参考路径。The teaching thought of self-study tutoring has a long history. This paper discusses the necessity of cultivating students’ self-study ability in marine engineering English teaching, explains the application of self-study tutoring method in marine engineering English teaching from five-step teaching program of "initiation, reading, practice, understanding and conclusion" in class and "planning, enjoying, answering and following" working program out of class,explores the basic ways to cultivate students’ good self-study habits, so as to put forward a practical model for the reform of marine engineering English teaching.
