养老志愿服务活动对护理专业学生从事老年护理工作意愿的影响

摘　　要：目的:探究我国养老志愿服务活动对护理专业学生从事老年护理工作意愿的影响,为培养老年护理服务人才提供新的思路和方法。方法:将我校大一新生中参与养老志愿服务活动的60名志愿者纳入观察组,并随机抽取未参与养老志愿服务活动的大一新生62人作为对照组。对照组进行常规护理课程学习,而观察组除进行常规课程学习外还定期参与我校养老志愿服务活动,持续1个学期。前后采用一般资料调查表(包含从事老年护理的工作意愿)、老年人态度量表、人口老龄化知识量表进行调查。结果:参与养老志愿服务后观察组护生对老年人态度、老化知识的掌握情况及从事养老护理工作意愿得分均显著高于对照组(P<0.05)。结论:开展养老志愿服务活动可使护生获得更多老化相关知识、改善对老年人的态度并提高从事老年护理事业的意愿,养老志愿服务活动可作为培养老年护理服务人才的方法之一。Objective:To explore the impact of voluntary service activities for the elderly on the willingness of nursing students to engage in the elderly nursing work,and to provide new ideas and methods for training elderly nursing service personnel.Methods:A total of 60 freshmen volunteers who participated in the volunteer service activities for the elderly in our school were included in the observation group,and 62 freshmen who did not participate in the volunteer service activities were randomly selected as the control group.The patients in control group received regular nursing courses,while the patients in observation group regularly participated in our school′s volunteer service activities for the elderly in addition to the regular courses,which lasted for one semester.The survey was carried out before and after the intervention using the general information questionnaire(including the willingness to engage in geriatric nursing work),Kogan′s Attitudes towards Old People Scale(KAOP),and population aging knowledge scale.Results:After participating in the volunteer service activities for the elderly,the scores of nursing students in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:Carrying out volunteer service activities for the aged can make nursing students acquire more knowledge about aging,improve their attitude towards the elderly and enhance their willingness to engage in the elderly care career.Volunteer service activities for the aged can be used as one of the methods to train elderly care service personnel.
