同义词辨析视度下翻译的选词策略研究--以《红楼梦》法译本为例

摘　　要：同义现象在语言中非常常见,而汉语和法语中都拥有大量的同义词。同义词所提供的丰富的选择使法语学习者在汉法翻译中能够避免重复,从而表达更加准确、生动、形象。通过比较语义学家和词汇学家对于同义词的不同分类方法,我们认为,在词义上和在文体上辨析有所区别的两类同义词对翻译实践中的选词具有很大的指导意义。本文从《红楼梦》法译版本中选取若干动词或动词词组,对比李治华译本和吴鸿缈译本的选词差异,力图从辨析同义词的角度,对词的本义和附属意义进行比较、分析,探讨如何在汉法翻译实践中,既避免误用同义词,又能丰富语言的表达。Synonyms are very common in languages,and French has a large number of synonyms.The rich choices provided by synonyms enable us to avoid repetition in Chinese-French translation,so that we can express more accurately and vividly.By comparing the different classification methods of semanticists and lexicologists for synonyms,we believe that in order to find the right wording in it is of translations critical importance to identify and analyze two types of synonyms that are distinct in meaning and style.This article selects some verbs or verb phrases from the French translation version of“A Dream of Red Mansions”,and tries to compare and analyze the original and subsidiary meanings of them,and discuss some interesting points regarding the choosing of the right word from among synonyms in Chinese-French translation.
