摘　　要：《兽医公共卫生学》是动物医学本科的一门重要专业课程。在新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情下,中国公共卫生体系遭受了巨大的冲击,联系近年来重大人兽共患病事件频发,培养兽医公共卫生专业人才刻不容缓,改革和创新该课程的教学内容与教学模式,也是中国培养一流兽医本科人才教学的迫切需要。该文根据作者的教学实践,结合新冠疫情背景阐述兽医公共卫生学的重要性,分析了兽医公共卫生学课程的教学改革内容,以期打破大众对兽医专业认识的局限性,强调兽医公共卫生的意义,提升《兽医公共卫生学》的课程价值,并为优化教学内容、提高教学质量提供指导。Veterinary Public Health is an important professional course of undergraduate program in Veterinary Medicine.Under the COVID-19 pandemic,China's public health system has suffered a huge impact.At the same time,due to the frequent occurrence of serious zoonoses in recent years,China needs more veterinary public health professionals.It is urgent to reform and innovate the teaching content and mode of this course to train first-class veterinary undergraduate talents.Based on the author's teaching practice and the background of COVID-19,this paper expounds the importance of veterinary public health,analyzes the teaching reform content of veterinary public health,and hopefully to break the limitation of public understanding of veterinary specialty.It emphasizes the significance of veterinary public health,enhances the value of the course of Veterinary Public Health in order to provide guidance for optimizing teaching content and improving teaching quality.
