摘　　要：一直以来,学界对雷蒙德·威廉斯的研究多侧重于其文化研究理论,而相对忽视了对威廉斯改造英国马克思主义文论这一过程的经验总结。从英国马克思主义文论的整体视野出发,我们能够发现威廉斯更加重要和特殊的理论贡献。确切说来,他将英国文学批评传统中的文本细读法、语义学批评等研究方法应用到对文学甚至整个社会文化的研究中,形成了“情感结构”等马克思主义自己的批评范式,并进一步提出指向实践的“共同文化”理想,促进了英国马克思主义文论的新旧交替。梳理和发掘这一问题,不仅有助于从整体上把握威廉斯的理论贡献,也能够为当代马克思主义文论如何从自身以及民族文化的传统中汲取营养提供借鉴和参考。The research concerning Raymond Williams has been mostly around his theory of cultural studies,giving less thought into his contribution to the transformation of British Marxist literary theory.However,looking from the overall point,we can find Williams’contribution is more important in the latter.Generally,he applies the methods of close reading and semantic criticism that are from traditional British literary criticism into his study of literature and culture,forms the critical paradigm of“structure of feeling”and puts forward the idea of“common culture”,thus promoting the updating of British Marxist literary theory.The analysis of this process not only helps us understand Williams’theory more comprehensively but also gives us insight into the renewal of contemporary Marxism through national cultures and traditions.
