摘 要:意象是诗歌表达最基本的意义单位,是诗歌的灵魂。意象的本质是意与象的结合,诗歌创造意象的过程是将意和象融合统一的过程,在诗歌的翻译中,先明象才能达意,因意才知象,意与象应予以等量齐观。《诗经·魏风·硕鼠》作为中国文化经典,译者有必要对硕鼠的“象”进行细致、准确的考证,在外宣翻译中注重意和象的统一。这对于《诗经》的传承与跨境传播具有重要意义。Meaning and Image are fundamental units and souls of poetry.The essence of imagery is a combination of meaning and image.The imagery production of Poetry is actually a process of integrating and unifying meaning and image.When translating,the translators should explore carefully the image first in order to convey the meaning and readers know the image from the illustrations of meaning.Therefore,t,it is essential for the translators to make a a careful and accurate investigation of“Image”and achieve a unification of meaning and image when translating the Chines classic the Book of Songs,which is of great significance for spreading traditional Chinese culture.
