摘 要:有中国电影不少在世界著名电影节崭露头角并获得大奖,片名翻译的作用不可忽视。本文以近10年在欧洲三大国际电影节获奖中国电影的英译名为研究对象,用生态翻译学理论分析和论述了获奖国产电影片名的英译策略,发现采用转换、创译、直译、省译等翻译策略可以达到生态翻译学“三维”(语言维、文化维和交际维)的适应性转换,得到优质英译名。Many Chinese films have made progress and won award at world-famous film festivals.The role of title translation cannot be ignored.This paper takes the English translation of the award-winning Chinese films titles in the three major European international festivals in the past ten years as the research object.Based on the theory of Eco-translatology,this paper analyzes and discusses the strategies used in the English translation of these award-winning film titles.It is found that using the translation strategies such as shift,recreation,literal translation and omission can realize the adaptive transformation of the “three dimensions”(linguistic dimension,communicative dimension,and cultural dimension) of Eco-translatology,thus playing a role in the successful English translation of movie titles.
