摘　　要：Shikonin compoundβ-acetoxyisovalerylalkannin is a kind of high fat-soluble naphthoquinone pigment,which can exert its pharmacological effects including anticancer,anti-inflammatory,bacteriostatic and antiviral effects in many ways.In this paper,the pharmacological effects and mechanism ofβ-acetoxyisovalerylalkannin are reviewed in order to provide theoretical basis for the clinical application ofβ-acetoxyisovalerylalkannin.
