摘 要:英语阅读可类比为翻译过程,是一种将源语在头脑中翻译成目的语帮助读者理解的过程,也可看作一种与源语作者的交流活动。而在该交际活动中,源语理解的准确性,可以理解成读者对源语的翻译效果,会影响交际效果。因此,文章旨在通过连接词断句法和动词断句法,以《新概念英语》第2册课文为例,再以陕西科技大学镐京学院学生为研究对象,受纽马克交际翻译理论的指导,从交际功能角度阐述长难句断句法作用下,学生提高对长难句的理解,继而充分理解源语表达的信息,实现信息传递的对等,达到源语交际效果。English reading can be classified as a translation process,which is a process of translating the source language in the mind to help readers understand,and can also be regarded as a communication activity with the source language author.In this communication activity,the accuracy of the source language understanding can be understood as the readers,translation effect of the source language,which will affect the communication.Therefore,with the New Concept English 2 text as an example,and students in Hao Jing College of Shaanxi University of Science&Technology as the research object,this article aims to apply two methods of division,which are to divide long sentences based on connections and verbs.The two kinds of division aim to better improve students9 understanding of long sentences,under the guidance of Newmark’s communication translation theory,and then fully understand the source expression information from the perspective of communication function and thus help to achieve equivalence of information transmission and source language communication effect.
