摘 要:《教育改革家评论》是英国教育史学之父罗伯特·赫伯特·奎克的代表作,也是英国第一本真正意义上的教育史著作,是其教育史学思想及教育史学史思想的集中表达。该书以欧洲教育家群体为主要研究对象,以总结经验与教训为研究目的,以传记式体裁为书写特色,是一部典型的教育思想史著作,兼具学术性和实用性。作为一部学术著作,它开创了英国教育史学史上具有正宗意义的传记式编史方式;作为一部教育史教科书,它为当时的师资培训提供了重要的教材和参考书目。通过对1890年出版的《教育改革家评论》的成书背景、文本内容进行阐述、解读与评析,总结并归纳其基本特征,揭示它在英国教育史及英国教育史学史上的重要地位。Essays on Educational Reformers is the representative work of Robert Hebert Quick,the father of British educational history,and it is also the first true work of educational history in Britain,which contains the concentrated expression of his thought of educational history and the thought of history of educational historiography.The book takes European educators as the main research object,summarizes experience and lessons as the research purpose,and takes biographical genre as the writing characteristics.It is a typical work on the history of educational thought,which is both academic and practical.As an academic work,it created the authentic biographical way of compiling history in British educational history.As an educational history textbook,it provided important teaching materials and references for teacher training at that time.Through the elaboration,interpretation and evaluation of the book background and text content of Essays on Educational Reformers published in 1890,its basic characteristics is summarized and its important position in the history of British educational history and history of British educational historiography is revealed.
