摘　　要：中国艺术在唐宋以来出现一种思想观念:真正的艺术创造,不是追逐时尚潮流,艺术家应是冷静的思考者,而不是追赶热流的弄潮儿。“不作时史”便是在这一过程中凝结的重要观点。“不作时史”,不是否定历史、疏离时代,而带有突出的反思性特征。它要挣脱知识和目的的束缚,发掘人内在生命的力量。其根本理想是去直面鲜活的生命感受,去发现历史现象背后人的生命价值世界。来源于时代、又超越时代,是“不作时史”说的要旨。Since the Tang and Song dynasties,an idea has gradually crystallized in Chinese art,that is"Not to make a history of the time".It is not a denial of history,which detaches itself from the age,but rather it carries a prominent reflective character.It wants to break free from the bondage of knowledge and purpose,and to discover the power of the inner life of man.Its fundamental ideal is facing the vivid feelings of life and discovering the world of the value of human life behind historical phenomena.It originates from its time and also transcends it,that is what the idea of"not to make a history of the time"essentially tells us.
