“城市昆虫学”课程实验教学方法探讨

摘　　要：城市昆虫学作为植物保护专业重要课程之一,具有很强实践性,因此这门课程的实验、实训环节是很重要的。然而,目前城市昆虫学的实验、实训环节学时非常有限,而且设置的实验主要以验证性实验为主,即在实验室鉴定标本验证课堂上讲到的昆虫主要识别特征。这种实验课程虽然可以巩固课堂上学到的知识,但是学生因无法接触到昆虫为害现场,将来很难把自己的所学高效应用于实践。鉴于此,本文提出把学生带到昆虫为害现场,构建城市昆虫学综合性实验、实训环节。基于这一设想,从“仔细学习主要害虫的关键形态识别特征;分门别类制定各类害虫的调查方法;及时整理、分析调查数据,精心制作标本,巩固实习成果”三个方面,阐述城市昆虫学实验课程建设的体会,以供同行参考。Urban entomology is one of the important courses in the plant protection major.Owning to that urban entomology belongs to applied entomology,the experiment and practice of this course are very important.However,the practical training hours of this course are very limited at present.In addition,almost practice lessons of urban entomology are confined in lab.In the lab,the main task for students is to verify the main identification characteristics of insects through observing insect specimens.Although this kind of practice lessons can consolidate the knowledge learned in class,students cannot get in touch with the scene of damages by insects,and it is difficult to apply what they have learned efficiently into practice in the future.Therefore,the authors propose to take students to the scene of damages by insects,and to construct a comprehensive practical training lesson of urban entomology.In order to provide some references for colleagues,this paper tries to state the practical lesson construction of urban entomology from three aspects:(1)students need to careful study key morphological recognition characteristics of major urban pests;(2)students need to make different investigation methods for those insect pests who live in distinct habitats;(3)students need to timely analyzing survey data and making specimens.
