摘  要:康有为、梁启超不仅在中国近代社会政治领域享有盛名,在文艺方面也有相当的造诣,他们重视“美术”在建构现代民族国家中所起的作用,将中国传统的书法、绘画乃至金石考据也纳入考察范畴。康有为将“美术”作为“物质之学”,认为现代国家可以发展工艺美术致富;梁启超虽一定程度上接受了康有为的意见,但为纠正“物质之学”的偏颇,他强调体现真善美的“美术”在完善国民品格中所起的作用。康、梁的“美术”思想均有取法古今、调和中西的现代性,蕴含着“求变”“求新”的文艺观。Kang Youwei and Liang Qichao are not only famous in modern political field,but also have profound attainments in fine arts.They stressed the important function of“fine arts”in the construction of a modern nation state,involving traditional Chinese calligraphy,painting,as well as bronze and stone textural research.Kang Youwei regarded fine arts as material learning,and believed that modern countries could get rich with arts and crafts.Liang Qichao accepted Kang’s ideas to some extent,but he corrected the material bias and emphasized the role of the truth,goodness and beauty of fine arts in perfecting the national character.Both Kang and Liang’s ideas on fine arts contain the modernity characteristics of taking ancient and modern methods and harmonizing Chinese and western,and contain the views on literature and art of“seeking change”and“seeking innovation”.
