关联理论视角下材料术语翻译的词义选择——基于《基础笔译》课程教学实例

摘　　要：随着工业和科技的发展,工程专业越来越全球化和现代化,材料翻译中术语词义的选择愈显重要。关联理论对材料翻译具有指导意义,通过对词类、语境、构词法和文本类型进行分析可以在翻译中实现最佳的词义选择。文章以《基础笔译》课程教学中的材料翻译的练习为例,对湖北工业大学研究生院外国语学院2021级MTI专业部分学生的译文进行比较分析,并从关联理论的视角探讨材料翻译中的词义选择策略。With the development of industry and science and technology, engineering specialty is becoming much more globalized and modernized, and the choice of term meaning in material translation is becoming vitally important. The relevance theory has guiding significance for material translation. Through the analysis of parts of speech, context, word formation and text type, the best choice of word meaning can be realized in translation. Taking the practice of material translation in teaching Basic Translation as an example, this paper makes a comparative analysis of the translation of some students majoring in MTI of grade 2021 in the school of foreign languages, Hubei University of Technology, and discusses the strategy of word meaning selection in material translation from the perspective of relevance theory.
