新时代背景下公共艺术在城市发展中的作用:以青岛西海岸新区为例

摘　　要：本文以青岛西海岸新区为例,探讨了公共艺术在城市发展中的作用,指出了公共艺术在促进社会和谐、传递社会正能量和温暖、增强公民的责任心和主人翁意识等方面具有积极的作用,并提出了新时代背景下公共艺术发展的建议,即应加强顶层设计、建立长效机制,坚持创作多元化、系统化、在地化、个性化的公共艺术作品,使城市发展更好地符合人们的新需求,满足人们的新期待,为人民社会未来发展增添更多的活力。Taking the West Coast New District of Qingdao as an example, this paper discusses the role of public art in urban development, and points out that public art plays a positive role in promoting social harmony, transmitting social positive energy and warmth, enhancing citizens’ sense of responsibility and sense of ownership. It also makes some propositions concerning public art development in the new era, suggesting we should highlight the top-level design, establish a long-term mechanism, insist on creating diversified, site-specific, and personalized public art systematically. Thus we can make urban development better meet people’s new demands, expectations, as well as add more vitality to the future development of the society.
