摘　　要：维多利亚时期是英国现代家庭观念确立的重要时期,其形成不仅与政治、经济等外部环境的变化有着密切的关联,还离不开一大批文人墨客的书写,尤其是在狄更斯这位几乎可以说是维多利亚时期的代表、自称为"家庭倡导者"的作家笔下,处处都渗透着新兴中产阶级的家庭道德观。本文以其早期一部不太为国内学者所关注的作品《圣诞颂歌》为例,来说明社会转型期里,狄更斯如何通过对传统节日的挖掘和家庭日常生活的书写,参与公共事务的讨论,促进社会稳定且建构了和谐话语,并为英国维多利亚时期"家庭理想"的确立奠定了基础。The British modern domestic ideal is mainly constructed in the Victorian period.Its formation is not only a resuit of changes in the external environment including political and economic environment,but is also related to the tremendous influence of many literary men,in particular that of Charles Dickens,whose reputation almos t represents the Victorian Era itself and who has named himself"prophet ff hearth"and has writtena great deal about the domestic ideal of the emerging middle class.This essay is based on one of his early novels,Christmas Carol,which has received relatively little attention from domestic scholars.It is aimed to analyze how Dickens,during the period of social transformation,successfully brought forward the discourse of traditional festive and domestic activities to participate in discussions of public affairs,and thus further enhanced social stability and set the foundation for the domestic ideal in Victorian England.
