摘  要:随着国家对外语人才文化传播能力的日益重视,大学英语教学越来越重视文化类课程的建设。本文从专门用途英语课程设计理念的角度出发,以北京联合大学“北京世界文化遗产”在线教程为例,探讨文化类大学英语课程设计的特点。从ESP课程设计要素出发,文化类大学英语课程的设计应当以需求分析为基石突出校本特色,以学习目标为引导突出学生中心,以课程材料为支撑突出真实原则,以课程评价为反馈持续改进,并借助现代教育技术得以综合实现。课程设计还应将价值塑造贯穿始终,在提高多媒体时代学习者的实际英语应用能力的同时,进行有效的价值引领,更好地培养学生用英语准确得体地传播中国文化的能力。With China’s increasing attention paid to the cultural communication ability of foreign language talents,more and more importance is attached to the construction of culture-related college English courses.Based on course design theories of English for Specific Purposes(ESP),this paper takes the online course“Beijing World Cultural Heritage”produced by Beijing Union University as an example and discusses some general features of the design of the culture-related college English courses.The present study has found that the design of culture-related College English courses should conduct needs analysis by taking into account school-based characteristics,guided by student-centered learning objectives,use authentic course materials,and perform course evaluation as feedback to foster continuous course improvement.These may also be better achieved with the help of modern educational technology.While focusing on improving learners’English proficiency in the multimedia era,the design of such courses should also aim to cultivate learners’values throughout the coures,and further their capacity to accurately and appropriately communicate Chinese culture in English.
