摘  要:持续改进已经成为一种系统记录和提高高校专业教学质量的策略。如何在专业层面上建立持续改进的机制,是高校特别关注的问题之一。目前美国高校在建立持续改进机制方面的普遍做法是:在清晰表述学生学习成果的基础上,实施以学生为中心的教与学,并对学生学习成果的达成情况和程度进行评估,在评估的基础上实施改进措施。给国内高校的启示是:要建立全面质量管理体系和持续改进工作的机构,对教师开展相关主题的培训,营造教学质量持续改进的文化氛围。Continuous quality improvement is a strategy to systematically record and improve the teaching quality of undergraduate programs in universities. It is one of particular issues on how to establish a mechanism for continuous quality improvement at the program level for universities. The current common practice of American universities in establishing a continuous improvement mechanism is to implement student-centered teaching and learning activities on the basis of clear elucidation of student learning outcomes, and to assess the achievement and the degree of student learning outcomes, and then to implement improvement measures on the basis of assessment. The implications are that we need to establish a total quality management system and an organization for continuous improvement;in the meantime, we should carry out faculty training on related topics and create a culture of continuous quality improvement.
