摘　　要：民族院校因其区别于其他普通院校的“政治”与“民族”属性,在培养人才方面具有特定的功能,主要体现在为少数民族与民族地区服务。从历史的角度进行考察,民族院校从创立之初即以培养少数民族人才为首要重任,并经历了政治干部人才、专业技术人才、高层次高素质人才再到以立德树人为根本的不同主导目的时期。民族院校培养民族人才特定功能的对象观、去向观、类型观在历史演进中具有不同的变迁特征,在其转型之余甚至引发了社会对这一功能是否独特的质疑。社会环境作用机制与高等教育内在逻辑的博弈,要求民族院校培养民族人才特定功能需在变迁中寻找新的平衡,从而不断满足社会与民族院校自身发展的需要,为少数民族事业发展作出应有的贡献。Because its“political”and“ethnic”attributes are different from other ordinary colleges and universities,ethnic colleges and universities have specific functions in cultivating talents to serve ethnic minorities and ethnic regions.From a historical point of view,ethnic colleges and universities have shouldered the major responsibilities of cultivating ethnic minority talents ever since their establishment.They have witnessed different periods of talent nurturing centered on different leading purposes ranging from cultivating political officials,professional and technical talents,high-level and high-quality talents to the present key goal of cultivating talents with higher morality and professional knowledge.As far as the specific function of ethnic colleges and universities in cultivating ethnic talents is concerned,the concept of its object,direction and type has presented different characteristics in different periods of their historical development.In the course of their functional transformation,questions are raised about whether their function of cultivating ethnic talents is still“unique”or not.The game between the functional mechanism of the social environment and the internal logic of higher education requires ethnic colleges and universities to find a new balance in the process of transforming the specific functions of cultivating ethnic talents,so as to continuously meet the needs of the development of society and ethnic colleges and universities,and make due contributions to the development of ethnic undertakings.
