游戏的解放功能

摘　　要：游戏之所以具有巨大的魅力,是因为它是人存在的最本真的方式,具有自我解放的功能。推动游戏过程的根本动力是寻求自我的被承认,唯有被承认才可以获得尊严,而这一目的的实现又必须通过与他者的较量才可以达到。游戏意味着可能的生活,没有可能性的生活是不值得过的。可能性意味着不确定性,因而游戏也是一种冒险,是与不确定性进行的搏斗,在冒险中人们得到一种崇高感和自由感。然而另一方面,游戏又是净化了的冒险,它不会带来实际的危险,否则人们会放弃游戏,这就是一种美学的态度了。一切游戏都具有从僵死的、束缚人的规则中暂时逃离的意义,由此游戏者从这种日常的中断中获得自由感。人在现实世界中不可能如其所愿地生活,而游戏建立起了这样一个乌托邦,在这里可以突破现实的种种束缚,按照自己的意愿而生活。游戏还具有释放人的动物性暴力本能的功能,从而减少了这种暴力可能对社会造成的危害。另一方面自由意味着秩序和规则,即使在虚拟的世界也必须遵守规则,否则便无自由可言。The reason why game has great charm is that it is the most authentic way of human existence and has the function of self liberation. The fundamental driving force to promote the game process is to seek self recognition. Only by being recognized can we obtain dignity, and the realization of this purpose must be achieved through competition with others. Game means possible life, and life without possibility is not worth living. Possibility means uncertainty, so the game is also an adventure, a struggle with uncertainty, in which people get a sense of sublimity and freedom. However, on the other hand, the game is a purified adventure. It will not bring actual danger,otherwise people will give up the game. This is an aesthetic attitude. All games have the meaning of temporarily escaping from the rigid and binding rules, so that players get a sense of freedom from this daily interruption. Games have Utopian significance. It is impossible for people to live as they wish in the real world, and the game establishes such a utopia, where they can break through the constraints of reality and live according to their own wishes. The game also has the function of releasing people’s instinct of animal violence, so as to reduce the harm that this kind of violence may cause to the society. On the other hand, freedom means order and rules. Even in the virtual world, we must abide by the rules, otherwise there will be no freedom. Freedom has its own limits that can not be transcended.
