摘 要:阿拉伯木聚糖在人体和动物肠道内可以被微生物降解生成短链脂肪酸(SCFA),SCFA通过激活G蛋白偶联受体和抑制组蛋白去乙酰化酶改善宿主肠道健康;阿拉伯木聚糖被肠道菌群降解还可以生成游离阿魏酸,阿魏酸具有很强的抗氧化和杀菌功能。然而,阿魏酸介导阿拉伯木聚糖改善宿主肠道健康的相关研究较少。本文综述了SCFA和游离态阿魏酸的生物学功能,发现过氧化物酶体增殖物激活受体γ(PPARγ)在SCFA和阿魏酸调节宿主免疫应答和肠道氧化还原状态中均发挥重要作用,进而推测PPARγ是两者相互联系的枢纽。因此,本文提出了阿拉伯木聚糖被肠道微生物发酵后生成的阿魏酸协同SCFA共同调控肠道健康的新观点,旨在拓展阿拉伯木聚糖调节肠道健康的作用机制,丰富纤维聚糖理论。Arabinoxylans are fermented by microbiota in the intestine of humans and monogastric animals to produce short-chain fatty acids(SCFA),which can improve intestinal health of the host by activating G protein-coupled receptors and inhibiting activity of histone deacetylase.In addition to SCFA,microbial fermentation of arabinoxylans generates free ferulic acid,which has strongly antioxidant capacity and bactericidal functions.However,there are few studies on the role of ferulic acid in mediating arabinoxylans to improve intestinal health of the host.The review summarizes biological functions of SCFA and free ferulic acid,and found that peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorγ(PPARγ)played an important role in the regulation of host immune responses and intestinal redox status mediated by both SCFA and ferulic acid,and then speculated that PPARγmay be the linkage between SCFA and ferulic acid to regulate prebiotic effects of arabinoxylans.Therefore,the review puts forward a new view that ferulic acid and SCFA produced from microbial fermentation of arabinoxylans have collaborated interactions on regulating intestinal health.Our purpose is to expand molecular mechanism of arabinoxylans on improving gut health and deepen theory of polysaccharides.
