人口老龄化视域下老年人出国旅游英语教学的研究

摘　　要：21世纪,伴随着医疗水平不断提高以及人们对健康养生的逐渐重视,人类寿命普遍延长。依照联合国给出的65岁以上老人的数量达到某个地区人口数的7%为基础的老龄化社会的最新标准,中国毫无悬念地正式成为老龄化社会中的一名重要成员。以中国的总人口基础来看,进入老龄化社会意味着老年人在中国是一个非常可观且不可忽视的重要群体。在如此浩大的群体中,有相当一部分老年人需要提升他们的英语口语水平,尤其是国外旅游时使用的英语口语水平,来满足他们想要走出国门、开阔视野、丰富生活、增强体质的愿望。这就需要我们发展老年教育,关注老年人这个群体,为他们创造条件,并根据老年人的特点,去探索一条适合老年人的出国旅游英语教学之路。With the arrival of the 21st century,there is a continuous improvement in healthcare and people pay more attention to their health and regimen,thus human average life expectancy grows.According to the latest criteria of the United Nations,if a country or region has 7 percent of its population aged 65 or over,it has entered an aging society.Thus China has oficially become an important member of an aging society.In terms of China's total population,it means that the number of elderly people is huge and there must be a considerable number of them who need to improve their oral English,especially that used in foreign travel to meet their needs of going abroad,broadening their horizons,enriching their lives and improving their physical fitness.This requires that we develop elderly education,pay attention to their needs,create conditions for them and develop an effective teaching approach of tourism English suitable for the characteristics of the elderly.
