摘　　要：普通话中的英语外来词必须被赋予声调。虽然国内外已有一些研究考察了英语外来词对现代汉语所产生的影响、英语外来词在普通话中的音段归划(segmental adaptation)等问题,但对这些词如何选择声调(调值)的研究少之又少。该文通过对普通话中英语外来词的语料库研究,对比已有研究结论,进一步探讨了英语形式的哪些特征对普通话中英语外来词的声调选择产生了何种影响,并指出了先前研究存在的偏颇之处。English loanwords in Mandarin must have tones.Although there have been some studies at home and abroad that have examined the influence of English loanwords on modern Chinese and the segmental adaptation of English loanwords in Mandarin,there are few studies on how these words are assigned tone.This paper examines the corpus of English loanwords in Mandarin,compares the findings of existing studies,further explores which features of the English forms have influenced the tonal assignment of English loanwords in Mandarin,and points out certain errors of previous studies.
