基于语料库的视听字幕翻译译者风格研究——以美剧《大小谎言》第一季两个中译版字幕为例

摘　　要：本研究基于Mona Baker的译者风格研究框架,借助自建英汉平行语料库和数据统计工具,以定性和定量分析结合的方式研究获奖影视剧《大小谎言》两个中译版字幕的译者风格,研究数据来源于人人影视和SSK字幕组翻译的《大小谎言》第一季字幕译本。研究发现,两组译文中都体现了视听语言口语化的特点;与英文原字幕相比,两个译本的词汇丰富度都有明显提高,这充分显示了译者在翻译过程中的主动性;人人影视译本较SSK译本词汇量更大,词类更丰富,更多的使用有情感倾向的词汇来突显剧中人物性格特征,同时可读性相对较低;从整体译者风格来看,人人影视译者倾向于归化而SSK译者偏异化,后者有时会导致原语文化信息缺失;研究还发现同一译本内有译者风格不一致的问题,这应引起重视,并在译前准备和译后校对阶段加以改善。The project aims to investigate the differences in translator’s style of audiovisual subtitles by analyzing the translator’s style of YYets and SSK fan-sub groups with their translated subtitles of the award-wining TV Series Big Little Lies(Season 1)from a self-built parallel corpus.The research adopts an integrated qualitative and quantitative approach based on Mona Baker’s linguistic framework.The findings reveal that both translations show a significant increase in the lexical richness comparing with the original text,demonstrating the translators’initiative in the translation process;additionally,both translators faithfully reflect the audiovisual language feature of colloquialism while the YYeTs group presents a greater vocabulary richness and variation,with more emotionally charged words that highlight the characters’personalities but the SSK translation is more readable with less information per sentence;the overall translation style of YYeTs translators is domestication,and for SSK translator,foreignalization,which sometimes results in a loss of cultural transformation in the target language.The study also detects an inconsistency of translator’s style,which should be adjusted at the phases of preparation and proofreading.
