非文学文献英译中“雅”的具体体现探究

摘　　要：非文学文献翻译是翻译领域至关重要的组成部分,“信达雅”是翻译领域普遍遵循的翻译标准,但对于非文学文献来说,“雅”始终是业界专业人员争议的焦点问题,当前绝大部分学者所提出的“非文学文献翻译应当遵从理性”的观点本身有一定的科学性,但非文学文献翻译同样也需要做到“素雅”。通过界定非文学文献翻译中“雅”的内涵,在明确非文学文献和文学文献翻译区别的基础上,从句子、段落、风格三方面重新确定非文学文献英语中“雅”的体现。Non-literary literature translation is a vital component in the field of translation,where the translation standards,“faithfulness,expressiveness and elegance”,get widely followed;for non-literary literature,however,“elegance”has always been the focus of disputes among professionals in this field.The viewpoint that“non-literary literature translation should follow rationality”put forward by most scholars is of scientifi city to a certain extent,but non-literary literature translation needs to be“plain and elegant”.This paper,on the basis of distinguishing non-literary and literary translation,further defi nes the connotation of“elegance”in literary translation,and makes a detailed analysis of the embodiment of“elegance”in non-literary literature English from the three aspects of sentence,paragraph and style.
