摘　　要：农业科技英语本身具有极强的科技专业性,和常规英语相比较,在表达层面上更为精炼,逻辑也更为严谨。同时英语和汉语两种语言在词法、修辞、句法等层面都存在大量不同之处。为优化英汉两种语言在表达习惯上的差异,实现科技翻译效度,使最终译文更为明确、连贯、清晰、通畅,从农业科技英语在词汇和句法方面存在的典型特征着手,发现当前该翻译工作中还存在语言句法难度大、词汇空缺较突出、语义错误出现多与逻辑错误较常见等问题。对此,提出了全面掌握各类典型翻译方法、尊重传统翻译方法、应用现代科学技术和提升译者综合素质的相关策略。Agricultural Science and technology English itself has strong science and technology professionalism.Compared with conventional English,it is more refined in expression and more rigorous in logic.At the same time,English and Chinese have a lot of differences in morphology,rhetoric and syntax.In order to optimize the differences in expression habits between English and Chinese,realize the validity of scientific and technological translation,and make the final translation more clear,coherent,clear and unobstructed,starting from the typical characteristics of agricultural scientific and technological English in terms of vocabulary and syntax,it is found that there are still some problems in the current translation work,such as great difficulty in language syntax,prominent lexical vacancy,more semantic errors and more common logical errors.In this regard,it puts forward relevant strategies to comprehensively master various typical translation methods,respect traditional translation methods,apply modern science and technology and improve the comprehensive quality of translators.
