摘　　要：斋林·旺多是我国首位藏族资深翻译家,自西藏和平解放后一直奋斗在西藏教育、旅游、翻译、文学创作一线,为西藏的教材编纂、国际旅游、英藏文学翻译、文学创作、藏民族文化汉英翻译和国际传播做出了卓越贡献,尤其在藏英、汉英翻译和文学创作领域成就斐然。2022年4月27日,先生与世长辞,文章对先生一生致力于翻译治学著文等实践活动及翻译思想之形成加以钩沉辑佚,表达对先生纪念缅怀之情,以期更多学界读者了解这位多语文化交流使者的翻译实践和影响。Mr.W.Tailing,the first Tibetan senior translator in China,had strived in the front line of education,tourism,translation and literary creation since the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet in 1951.He made great contributions to the compilation of Tibetan textbooks,international tourism,Tibetan literature translation,literary creation and international communication of Tibetan culture.His outstanding works concerned Tibetan-English and Chinese-English translation and literary creation,which need to be publicized among the various circles especially academic arena.Sadly,the world lost a brilliant translator and writer on April 27th,2022.It is worthwhile for the scholars in the related areas to familiarize with his great contribution towards translating Tibetan literature,translation thoughts,novel creation,and international communication of Tibetan culture,that’s the very reason why the author wrote this article to pay tribute to his life and work.
