试论聋人大学生英语学习现状及建议

摘　　要：英语是聋人高等教育的重要组成部分,是聋人大学生完成学业,实现升学和就业的必要条件。文章采用半结构化访谈的方式对聋人大学生的英语学习现状进行调查。调查发现聋人大学生在英语学习上存在主体内部异质性较大、英语学习心理问题显著、教师特殊教育知识薄弱、所用教材匹配度低等问题,并针对这些问题提出制订个别化学习计划、培养英语学习兴趣、提供英语学业支持服务、加强英语教师的手语培训、开发聋人大学生英语教材等方面的建议。English is an important part of higher education for the deaf,and it is a necessary condition for deaf college students to complete their studies and achieve further education and employment.This paper investigates the present situation of deaf college students'English learning by means of semi-structured interviews.The survey found that there are many problems in deaf college students'English learning,such as greater heterogeneity within the main body,significant psychological problems in English learning,weak teachers'special education knowledge,and low matching of textbooks.In view of these problems,some teaching suggestions are put forward,such as making individualized learning plans,cultivating interest in English learning,improving English academic support services,strengthening sign language training for English teachers,and developing English textbooks for deaf college students.
