摘　　要：当今跨文化交流日益密切,人们在进行沟通了解的同时,不可避免地产生交流障碍与误读。文章运用例证、类比和对比的方法,指出文化差异导致语言差异因素的主要方面,即:地理位置差异、农耕经济与海洋经济差异和长期封建统治与启蒙思想差异。在此原因分析基础上,指出了文化差异背景下导致的汉英两种语言差异,为了解文化、掌握语言、消除误解、进行顺利交流提供保障,为正确、地道地使用中英两种语言提供借鉴。Nowadays,cross-cultural communication are becoming more and more important.While people communicate,they inevitably result in barriers and misunderstanding.The paper points out the main aspects of cultural differences that lead to linguistic differences through illustration,analogy,and contrast,namely:geographical diffe-rences,differences in agrarian economy and marine economy,and differences in long-term feudal rule and enlightenment ideas.On the basis of this cause analysis,the differences between Chinese and English languages caused by cultural differences are pointed out,which provides a way to understand culture,master language,eliminate misunderstandings,and carry out smooth exchanges,and provides reference for the correct and idiomatic use of Chinese and English languages.
