摘 要:自20世纪80年代以来,美国开启了教育领域的标准化运动,标准化测试和问责成为驱动教育改革的重要工具,并有逐渐强化的趋势。社会科课程作为中小学的核心课程,在标准化测试背景下面临课程地位边缘化,课程评价肤浅化和课程内容碎片化等困境。为缓解以上困境,教育工作者在实践中主要采取了如下策略:改善社会科教学策略,完善社会科的教育评价体系,提高社会科课程内容的完整性。美国社会科课程的困境和应对策略对我国中小学人文社会学科课程改革也具有一定的借鉴与启示意义。Since the 198Os,the United States has initiated the standardization movement in education,with standardized testing and accountability being gradually strengthened while serving as the important tools to drive educational reform.In the backdrop of standardized testing,the social studies curriculum,as the core curriculum of primary and secondary schools,is facing the predicaments of marginalization in status,superficiality in evaluation and fragmentation in content.In order to alleviate the above-mentioned difficulties,educators have mainly adopted the following strategies in their practice:ameliorating the teaching strategy of social studies,perfecting the education evaluation system,and enhancing the integrity of the curriculum content.The predicaments faced by American social studies and the solutions may shed some light on the reform of humanities and social science curriculum in China's primary and middle schools.
