摘 要:如何研究和展现中国课堂的精致、精巧与精妙?本文以“回音”为例,探索一种基于细致描述和理论阐释的取径。通过对上海市某初中一位资深教师的生命科学课堂上的三个“回音”片段进行话语分析,本文呈现了三种难以归类的“回音”话语,它们既在结构或功能上神似奥康纳和迈克尔斯及其追随者所研究的话语,又与其有着丰富而细微的差别。从这些“回音”话语中,可以看到中国教师独特的教学智慧。借助这些分析,本文进而讨论了中国课堂研究者如何面对和处理舶来的概念和理论的问题。How to(re-)present the ingenuity of teaching and learning in the classroom in China?This article aims to illustrate an approach that is based upon detailed description and interpretation with theories,using the discourse practice of revoicing as an example.In particular,I present discourse analyses on three episodes from a middle school life sciences classroom where an experienced teacher deployed revoicing techniques that were,to some extent,similar to what O’Connor and Michaels and their followers documented,yet had nuanced and profound variances.I argue that these variances show great ingenuity of Chinese teachers against the backdrop of cultural beliefs and practice in China’s schools.I also discuss the methodological concerns of using Western concepts and theories in looking closely into classrooms in China.
