摘　　要：英国著名作家毛姆《在中国屏风上》以游记形式塑造了包含历史、现实、艺术、文化等内容丰富的多种“他者”形象。从“他者”形象反观中国自身文化,重新认识中国文化的民族性和价值意义,探究20世纪初中国文化变革、重构的复杂现象和规律,对当代中国文化建设具有参照和启示意义。In“On a Chinese Screen”, William Somerset Maugham, in the form of travel notes, builds various images of the other including history, reality, art and culture. Reflecting Chinese culture,refreshing understanding of Chinese cultural nationality and values, and exploring the complex phenomena and laws of Chinese cultural reform and reconstruction in the early 20th century through images of the other provide certain reference and enlightening significance for the modern Chinese cultural construction.
